ALEX UKKELBERG
Alex played indoors at Grand View University, where he led his team to a second place finish in the NAIA Nationals. He then competed at Northumbria University while he earned a master's degree and competed in the NVL.

About me
I grew up in Battle Lake, Minnesota and played as many sports as possible as a kid. I played football, basketball, and track in high school and track and volleyball in college, before moving to the UK to play 2 more years of volleyball and get my master’s degree.Since then, I coached college volleyball, moved to California – twice, and started playing beach volleyball full time. I have a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a Master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology.Aside from volleyball, I am passionate about coaching, learning/growing, environmental sustainability, and nutrition. I want to continue to use volleyball as a platform to grow personally and professionally and make a difference in the world around me.
